Q&A with N.Robinson
Q. What makes your Academy different/special compared to other training courses?
A.First of all I personally teach all of my students as I believe it is essential that they learn from someone who is running her own skincare business and treating clients on a daily basis. My students get much more than theory-based teaching, it is proven and practical and as I coach them and try to be their mentor too and show them all of the important things I have learned over the years through my practise. On my Face Treatment Training course my students get information and tips how to set up the treatment room and where and what products to buy without overspending. In this industry it is very easy to waste time and money on equipment and things you don’t need and I try to share my experiences of this to help students avoid the same mistakes. I want my students to succeed and I love when, following the training, they share images of their new set up, treatment room, or the launch of a new facial such as Natural Face Lift Massage, AcuFirm.
Q. You mentioned that you consider your Academy more “holistic" rather then “beauty”. Why is this?
A. After completing my diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine and studying for more then 10 years for my Naturopathic Diploma, taking a fitness and wellness diploma and treating and understanding people, I look at the human body from a holistic aspect rather than just beauty. I teach my students how massage impacts an individual's whole wellbeing rather than simply looking at how it affects their appearance.
